2:    We introduce non-commutative algebras, which can be associated with the function

3:    algebra of functions on a finite or half-finite cylinder. The algebras,

4:    which depend on a deformation parameter, are crossed product algebras

5:    of a partial group action of $\integers$ on an interval of the real line $\reals$. 

6:    Discrete representations of the algebras can be seen as matrix regularizations

7:    of the respective function algebra on the finite or half-finite cylinder

8:    and therefore as fuzzy space.

10:    In a second part of the article, we review crossed product algebras

11:    based on partial group actions and derive the results needed
