2: It is pointed out that models with condensates have nontrivial

3: renormalization group flow on the tree level. The infinitesimal

4: form of the tree level renormalization group equation is obtained

5: and solved numerically for the $\phi^4$ model in the symmetry

6: broken phase. We find an attractive infrared fixed point that

7: eliminates the metastable region and reproduces the Maxwell

8: construction.
