2: In this paper, we study finite dimensional approximations of

3: Kohn-Sham models, which are widely used in electronic structure

4: calculations. We prove the convergence of the finite dimensional

5: approximations and derive the a priori error estimates for ground

6: state energies and solutions. We also provide numerical simulations

7: for several molecular systems that support our theory.
