2: In this paper, we introduce a Kantorovich type generalization of $q$%

3: -Bernstein-Stancu operators. We study the convergence of the introduced

4: operators and also obtain the rate of convergence by these operators in

5: terms of the modulus of continuity. Further, we study local approximation

6: property and Voronovskaja type theorem for the said operators. We show

7: comparisons and some illustrative graphics for the convergence of operators

8: to a certain function.
