2: In this note,  we initiate the concept of Dehn functions for a family of finite groups.  We investigate the Dehn function for some specific families of finite polycyclic groups.  We also consider related notions of spherical Dehn function and mean Dehn function for family of finite simple cyclic groups.    \end{abstract}
