2: A simple regularization procedure is proposed for the

3: Legendre function series of improved nearside-farside 

4: subamplitudes for charged particles elastic scattering.

5: The procedure is the extension of the usual one which 

6: defines the partial wave series  for the scattering 

7: amplitude in the presence of a long range Coulomb term in 

8: the potential, and it provides the same convergence rate.
