2: We introduce a new method to calculate local normal zeta functions of

3: finitely generated, torsion-free nilpotent groups, \T-groups in

4: short. It is based on an enumeration of vertices in the Bruhat-Tits

5: building for~\SlnQp. It enables us to give explicit computations for

6: \T-groups of class $2$ with small centres and to derive local

7: functional equations. Examples include formulae for non-uniform normal

8: zeta functions.
