2:   Phase retrieval and imaging phase measurements are fields of intense

3:   research. It has recently been shown that phase retrieval from

4:   self-referencing interferograms (SRI) can be reformulated leading to

5:   a stable, linear equation provided the amplitude of the field is

6:   known from prior measurement steps (HOLOCAM).  Consequently, the

7:   numerical solution thereof is straightforward. This is a big

8:   achievement since convergence is otherwise not always

9:   guaranteed. Applications are expected in X-ray microscopy, general

10:   phase retrieval, holography, tomography and optical imaging.
