5:   We study certain lattices constructed from finite abelian groups.

6:   We show that such a lattice is eutactic,

7:   thereby confirming a conjecture by

8:   Böttcher, Eisenbarth, Fukshansky, Garcia, Maharaj.

9:   Our methods also yield simpler proofs of two known results:

10:   First, such a lattice is strongly eutactic if and only if

11:   the abelian group has odd order or is elementary abelian.

12:   Second, such a lattice has a basis of minimal vectors,

13:   except for the cyclic group of order~$4$.
