2:   We present a new spectral scheme for analysing functions of

3:   half-integer spin-weight on the $2$-sphere and demonstrate the

4:   stability and convergence properties of our implementation.  The

5:   dynamical evolution of the Dirac equation on a manifold with spatial

6:   topology of $\mathbb{S}^2$ with a pseudo-spectral method is also

7:   demonstrated.
