3: We explore vacua of the $U(N)$ gauge model with $\mathcal{N}=2$ supersymmetry

4: recently constructed in hep-th/0409060.

5: In addition to the vacuum previously found with unbroken $U(N)$ gauge symmetry 

6: in which $\mathcal{N}=2$ supersymmetry is partially broken to $\mathcal{N}=1$, 

7: we find cases in which the gauge symmetry is broken to a product gauge group

8: $\displaystyle{\prod _{i=1}^n U(N_i)}$. 

9: The $\mathcal{N}=1$ vacua are selected by the requirement of a positive 

10: definite K\"ahler metric.

11: We obtain the masses of the supermultiplets appearing on the 

12: $\mathcal{N}=1$ vacua.
