2:   We study the finite-size effects on the BCS-BEC crossover in two dimensions,

3:   occurring in confined fermionic superfluids. We analyze several

4:   thermodynamic properties, such as the chemical potential, the energy gap

5:   and  the superfluid density, taking into account unavoidable quantum

6:   fluctuations, and, by means of renormalization group procedure, we detect

7:   the putative Berezinskii-Kosterlitz-Thouless phase transition at finite-size.
