3: We analyze the electromagnetic form factors of the ground state baryon octet 

4: to fourth order in relativistic baryon chiral perturbation theory.  

5: Predictions for the $\Sigma^-$ charge radius and the

6: $\Lambda$--$\Sigma^0$ transition moment are found to be in excellent

7: agreement with the available experimental information.

8: Furthermore, the convergence behavior of the hyperon charge radii

9: is shown to be more than satisfactory.
