2:   We give full details regarding the new Cauchy-characteristic evolution (CCE) system

3:   in SpECTRE.

4:  The implementation is built to provide streamlined flexibility for either

5:   extracting waveforms during the process of a SpECTRE binary compact object

6:   simulation, or as a standalone module for extracting waveforms from worldtube

7:   data provided by another code base.

8:  Using our recently presented improved analytic formulation, the CCE system is

9:  free of pure-gauge logarithms that would spoil the spectral convergence of the

10:  scheme.  It gracefully extracts all five Weyl scalars, in addition to the news

11: and the strain.

12:  The SpECTRE CCE system makes significant improvements on previous implementations in

13:   modularity, ease of use, and speed of computation.
