2: In~\cite{GJMN,JMN10} we proposed a new non-conforming domain

3: decomposition paradigm, the New Interface Cement Equilibrated Mortar

4: (NICEM) method, based on Schwarz type methods that allows for the use

5: of Robin interface conditions on non-conforming grids. The error

6: analysis was done for $\PP_1$ finite elements, in 2D and 3D. In this

7:   paper, we provide new numerical analysis results that allow to

8:   extend this error analysis in 2D for piecewise polynomials of higher

9:   order and also prove the convergence of the iterative algorithm in

10:   all these cases.
