4: By calculating the $O(\alpha_s)$ corrections to inclusive heavy-to-light

5: sum rules we find model independent upper and lower bounds on form 

6: factors for \btopi\ and \btorho. 

7: We use the bounds to rule out model predictions.

8: Some models violate the bounds only for certain ranges of sum rule

9: input parameters $\Lam \simeq m_B-m_b$ and $\lambda_1$, or for certain

10: choices of model parameters, while others obey or violate

11: the bounds irrespective of the inputs. We 

12: discuss the reliability and convergence of the bounds, point

13: out their utility for extracting $V_{ub}$, and 

14: derive from them a new form factor scaling relation.
