2: A fast implementation of the OPED algorithm, a reconstruction 

3: algorithm for Radon data introduced recently, is proposed and 

4: tested. The new implementation uses FFT for discrete sine 

5: transform and an interpolation step. The convergence of the 

6: fast implementation is proved under the condition that the 

7: function is mildly smooth. The numerical test shows that 

8: the accuracy of the OPED algorithm changes little when the 

9: fast implementation is used.
