3: For the heavy quarkonium system

4: we examine 

5: ${\cal O}(\LQ^2/m)$ renormalons, which

6: are expected to be included in the perturbative series of

7: the pole mass and $1/(mr^2)$ 

8: interquark potential.

9: We find indications of existence and cancellation of 

10: these renormalons,

11: from examinations of stability and convergence properties of 

12: the perturbative series and their resummations, as well as

13: by comparison with the known properties of the ${\cal O}(\LQ)$ renormalons.
