1: \begin{abstract}

2: We discuss restrictions and limitations to entanglement distribution, quantum teleportation,

3: and quantum communication that are imposed by the holographic bounds, such as

4: the Bekenstein bound and Susskind's spherical entropy bound. In the context of 

5: continuous-variable (CV) quantum information, we show that the exact realization of well-known results would 

6: break down if holographic corrections are naively applied. These corrections would lead to the impossibility 

7: of perfect CV teleportation, the impossibility of uniform convergence in the teleportation 

8: simulation of lossy quantum channels, and to a modified PLOB bound for quantum communication.
