2: We show that for each genus there are only finitely

3: many algebraically primitive Teichm\"uller curves $C$,

4: such that i) $C$ lies in the hyperelliptic locus

5: and ii) $C$ is generated by an abelian differential with 

6: two zeros of order $g-1$.

8: We prove moreover that for these Teichm\"uller curves 

9: the trace field of the affine group is not only totally

10: real but cyclotomic.
