2: This work results from a study of Nicholas Kuhn's paper entitled 

3: ``Generic representation theory of finite fields in nondescribing characteristic''.

4: Our goal is to abstract the categorical structure required to obtain an

5: equivalence between functor categories $[\CF,\CV]$ and $[\CG,\CV]$

6: where $\CG$ is the core groupoid of the category $\CF$ and $\CV$

7: is a category of modules over a commutative ring.
