2: Thanks to the work of Karin Erdmann, we know a great deal about the

3: representation theory of blocks of finite groups with tame

4: representation type. Our purpose here is to examine the $p$-completed 

5: classifying spaces of these blocks and their loop spaces. We pay

6: special attention to the $A_\infty$ algebra structures, and

7: singularity and cosingularity categories.
